Bars & Entertainment
Custom Bars and Entertainment Cabinetry in Chicago
A good home bar is a room piece — it fits the space, coordinates with what is already there, and does not look like it was an afterthought. We build bars from scratch and integrate them into the room.
What we build
- Wet bars and dry bars
- Basement bars and entertainment rooms
- Wine bars with bottle storage and glass racks
- Beverage centers and coffee stations
- Integrated ice makers, wine coolers, and keg taps
- Live-edge slab bar tops
- Commercial bar cabinetry
What to send us to get started
- Space dimensions and any plumbing or drain locations
- Appliance models — wine cooler, ice maker, keg tap, dishwasher drawer
- Counter material preference — stone, wood, live edge
- Finish direction
Bar projects often involve plumbing and electrical coordination. We flag the rough-in requirements early so your GC can plan around them.
Common questions
- What does a home bar project typically include?
- Most home bar projects include base and upper cabinetry, a counter surface, a backsplash detail, and at least one sink. Beyond that, scope varies — some bars have wine coolers and ice makers, some have glass-front uppers and display shelving, some have keg taps or underbar refrigeration. We work from what you actually want to use the bar for and design around it.
- Can you integrate appliances like wine coolers, keg taps, and ice makers?
- Yes. We work from appliance spec sheets and build the cabinetry around the cutout dimensions, ventilation requirements, and any plumbing or drain connections. Send model numbers when you reach out.
- Do you build both wet and dry bars?
- Both. Wet bars require plumbing rough-ins and drain coordination. Dry bars are simpler — cabinetry with a surface and storage. We have done everything from a simple beverage station to a full commercial bar installation.
- Can you match the bar cabinetry to an existing kitchen?
- Yes. If the bar is happening alongside or after a kitchen renovation, we can match door style, finish, and hardware exactly. Or we can coordinate the design to complement without being identical — your call.
